Each person has 10 minutes to tell a TRUE, UNSCRIPTED, PERSONAL story relating to the topic of hitting rock bottom. You may have heard this kind of thing on This American Life or The Moth cause that’s where we got the idea to run an antipodean series from. These stories are always awesome. They can be funny, strange, devious, enlightening, honest, moving and brilliant, but they are always worth hearing.

2012 International Comedy Festival & we’re in it!

We’re extremely excited to announce that TRUE STORIES OUT LOUD will be running a series of live story telling over four Saturdays in the upcoming Auckland Comedy Festival. Seeing as it’s 2012 we thought it best to share stories about THE APOCALYPSE, so over April and May you will be treated to some of NZ’s finest comedians, actors, artists, authors and ordinary folk sharing their true stories on the topics of:
Faith, Revelation, Rock Bottom and Redemption.

Here’s the shake down of dates and topics:
